AHU 191 Beadwork II
Additional types of beadwork are introduced in this class, including lazy stitch, peyote stitch and edging stitch and flat stitch. Course instruction will cover these beading stitches and hand sewing methods to begin and finish artwork projects. Projects vary from semester to semester from bandolier bags, baby bonnets and hats, baby moccasins, earrings, etc. This course will also cover information on various beadwork methods from other tribes in North America.
