SOCI SOCI 259 or BIOL 259 Modern Science and Historical Ojibwe Culture/Lab

This course will explore the role of culture traditions and practices and application of the scientific method.  Examples would include traditional medicine plants and the science of medicine plants, traditional diet and current nutrition requirements, tradition tanning methods and the science behind these methods.
