MATH 380 Introduction to Proofs

This course develops important tools and methods essential for studying, understanding, and communicating formal mathematics beyond Calculus. This course will cover topics such as logic statements, methods of proof including direct and indirect methods, functions and relations, equivalence relations, sequences, and infinite sets and cardinality.
