Program Description

The health/fitness technician program is a two-year (4 semester) program designed as a career ladder program providing students with a specific area of study in four different specializations. The program prepares multi-skilled fitness professionals qualified to perform various skills in the health and fitness industry. Coursework includes instruction in coaching, athletic care, wellness, nutrition, principles of coaching leadership and athletic performance.

* A student can enter Health & Fitness Technician program in the beginning of any semester within the two-year cohort. BOTE 177 Job Readiness & FITT 161 Health & Fitness Internship will be required in the first semester the student enters the cohort.
