EDUC 190 Intro to Teaching (Early Entry)
The Introduction to Education Summer Intensive Course provides an introduction to the field of education through project-based learning. Students will work in groups to design, plan, and implement projects that address real-world educational challenges. Through these projects, students will develop critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills, while also gaining an understanding of the fundamental principles and goals of education.
The course will cover various topics related to education, including the history of education, different learning styles and preferences, the roles and responsibilities of teachers, and current trends and issues in the field. Students will learn how to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners, and they will also explore potential career paths in education.
