EDUC 200 Introduction to Teaching

This course is designed to prepare pre-service teachers for teaching careers and give an orientation to the profession as it has developed historically and in contemporary times. Emphasis is on planning, designing, and emplementing effective teaching practices. Field site visits will be an integral part of the course. (This required course should be taken in one's sophomore year.)
