SOCI SOCI 258 or BIOL 258 Birds and Culture/Lab

This course will focus on techniques for identifying bird species located on the TMBCI and surrounding lands, basic introductory bird anatomy and physiology, oral and written Ojibwe history and bird lore, and the traditional use of bird structures with an emphasis on the importance of feathers usage.
