EDUC 500 Historic to Contemporary Policies

Students will explore historic policy development affecting the education of Indigenous people including the development of schools and the relationship of education to federal Indian policy. This has a pertinent impact on tribal sovereignty, self-determination, self-governance, and the sense of tribal community.
