BIOL 470 BIometry

This course is an introduction to various biostatistical methods used in biological research, with an emphasis on application of appropriate methods and interpretation of results. Examples and problems will be from both biology and allied health fields. Topics covered include methods of summarizing data, estimation, and hypothesis testing techniques, including the t-test, the chi-square test, the analysis of variance, correlation, and linear regression.
