MATH 341 Math Concepts for Teachers I
Pedagogical content knowledge is crucial to being a successful math instructor. This course is designed to advance student’s conceptual understanding of pre-algebra and algebra concepts, so pre-service teachers will be able to implement a variety of teaching techniques, instructional tools, assessments, and content explanations, especially explanations stemming from the land/environment and student’s personal lives. This course will also include some math tutoring within TMCC
