MATH 364 Math In Context
“When am I ever going to use this?” This question has been asked by countless secondary students in traditional math courses. This course is designed around the principle that we should listen to our youth. Topics including inter-disciplinary mathematics and modeling are central to this course to demonstrate math applied to specific life contexts. A course and program assessment will be a community engagement project applying math concepts to concrete problems.
