MATH 342 Math Concepts for Teacher II

Pedagogical content knowledge is crucial to being a successful math instructor. This course is designed to advance student's conceptual understanding of geometry concepts, problem-solving, probability, statistics, and other topics so students will be able to implement a variety of teaching techniques, instructional tools, assessments, and content explanations, especially explanations stemming from the land/environment and students’ person's lives. Course assessments that will also be program assessments include a math history paper and a portfolio on techniques, tools, assessments, and explanations.
